brainrush No.2 - Wickets

The second title in the series has been given as WICKETS and follows on the same lines as DECATHLON.
WICKETS again comes in ten's and the fielding side would have to get 10 wickets to get the other team out and try and win the match. Again yours truly is a cricket fanatic and the name WICKETS I suppose would not rquire any further reasoning. The second brainrush again follows on the same lines as the first one has once again been designed such that answers to all the questions are names of people, some famous, some infamous. Hope you enjoy them!!!! As I mentioned earlier, please do not use search engines for the answer.

brainrush No.1 - Decathlon

The first title in the series has been given as DECATHLON has just been given for the simple reason that questions are in sets of ten. Perhaps in future names such as wickets, 10 seconds, decagon, etc. all related to 10.
Decathlon as one would rightly know is the most gruelling of all Olympic events, ten track and field events spread over a period of two days. The first brainrush has been designed such that answers to all the questions are names of people, some famous, some infamous. Hope you enjoy them!!!! Though personally I would request all not to use search engines for the answer.

Welcome

One cloudy afternoon on a Sunday not long ago, I discussed the possibility of having a blogsite of my own with my technologically inclined wifey. She was naturally inclined to question my wisdom as I already have a blogsite, www.amitshet.blogspot.com. However, when I mentioned to her that this site was purely for quizzing which happens to be one of my biggest passions, she readily agreed. So guys and gals, not ladies and gentlemen (aren't we all young at heart?) follow me on this sometimes enchanting, sometimes magical, sometimes boring, sometimes interesting journey as the encycs (urs truly) leads you with the sole purpose to learn and to share.
Thanks,
encycs
